THE MALL AT MILLENIA’S FIRST FRIDAY CONCERT SERIES RETURNS JUNE 3rd WITH TROPICAL STEEL FEATURING JOHN STEEL
ORLANDO, FL (May 20, 2005) – Tropical Steel featuring John Steel will bring its eclectic Caribbean sound to The Mall at Millenia on June 3rd during First Friday, a monthly concert series that runs 5-8 p.m. on the first Friday of each month.
Tropical Steel has been creating music in the Central Florida area for over 15 years. The band is formed around one of the world’s greatest steel drum musicians, Founder John Smith, otherwise known as John Steel. John's unparalleled steel drum performances and versatile talent reach far beyond the traditional steel drum music of the islands. He has not only incorporated a wide variety of music in his performances to include jazz, easy-listening, calypso, reggae, and soca, but also the art of playing with four sticks, all with sweet island flavor.

Chang's China Bistro. In addition to enjoying world-class performances, concert-goers can purchase food and drinks from these restaurants, plus California Pizza Kitchen.
