FALL FASHION MAKES THE GRADE WITH THE MALL AT MILLENIA’S BACK-TO-SCHOOL FASHION SHOW ON JULY 30th Featuring graduates from the Lisa Maile Modeling Camp

7/1/2005

ORLANDO, FL (July 1, 2005) – Lunch money, math homework and soccer practice may signal the start of school … but there’s nothing quite like a fashion-forward outfit to begin the school year on the right foot. The latest children’s fashions will go to the head of the class during The Mall at Millenia’s Back-To-School Fashion Show on Saturday, July 30th at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. in the Center’s Grand Court.

Fall fashions from Gap, Gap Kids, Gymboree, Oilily, Quiksilver Boardriders Club, Rampage and Sanrio will be modeled by the graduates of the Lisa Maile fashion and TV summer camp held at the Center in June. Two graduates of Lisa Maile’s modeling and acting programs will make special appearances: thirteen-year-old Brittany McDaniel, who has held the title of “Junior Female Vocalist of the Year” for the Florida Country Music Association for three years; and Ayanah Vegas, who has performed at many venues throughout Orlando with a beautiful voice that appeals to all age groups. Erica Lee and Jay Edwards from the MIX 105.1 morning show will emcee the event. Admission is free, with plentiful viewing areas on the first and second levels of Grand Court, and limited seating available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

“Back to school can be a hectic time for parents, and we like to offer an event that makes it easier for families to see the trends available for their children,” said marketing director Brenda Lounsberry. “The Fall fashion trends for youth this year include everything from sixties to Bohemian, accompanied with fun accessories.

The school also offers private coaching for professionals.
