ORLANDO, FL (January 18, 2007) – The Mall at Millenia presents another sizzling set of First Friday soirees that will relax the mind and rejuvenate your spirit. Unwind from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm and experience featured jazz performances that fill the air with rhythm, style and a newfound eclectic energy.

Spring concerts will take place outside of the mall’s main entrance on the first Friday of March, April and May. Performances by Sunnie Paxson featuring DaVonda, Beautiful Bobby Blackmon and Rico Monaco & Sol Sons, present an array of jazz styles featuring dynamic vocals and outstanding instrumentation. The combination and unique flare of these performers will captivate jazz enthusiasts and leave them longing for more.

March 2 – Sunnie Paxson featuring DaVonda
Sunnie Paxson is back by popular demand to present a blend of funk, fusion, acid, smooth, and straight jazz. Her extraordinary keyboard skills set her apart as one of the funkiest, soulful keyboard players on the smooth jazz scene today. Sunnie’s performance with DaVonda Simmons, a dynamic vocalist who has been dazzling audiences for years with her “drop dead gorgeous voice,” promises to lift your spirit high and get you into the groove of First Friday Spring Series.

April 6 – Beautiful Bobby Blackmon
Beautiful Bobby Blackmon brings blues and soul to the First Friday Spring Series. Combining contemporary blues, classic R&B and soul, lead guitarist and vocalist, Bobby entices you to get into the groove of the evening. Captivating audiences with his unforced funkiness and distinctive style, his performance features original music that is bliss to those looking for a new and unique artist.

May 4 – Rico Monaco & Sol Sons
Rico Monaco & Sol Sons tops off the First Friday Spring Series with a sizzling performance of red-hot Latin Rock, just in time for Cinque de Mayo. The band, which is originally from Orlando, has independently sold several thousand copies of their self-titled, award-winning album. Rico Monaco & Sol Sons have won numerous awards and accolades in the music industry. Leave your inhibitions behind and get ready to dance the night away.

Hosted by Smooth Jazz 103.1 WLOQ, guests at First Friday can enjoy an evening filled with mouthwatering dining and lively cocktails including, Blue Martini, The Cheesecake Factory, Brio Tuscan Grille, McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant, P.F.
