Orlando Economic Development Commission (EDC)

The Orlando Economic Development Commission (EDC) is a not-for-profit, public-private partnership on a mission to aggressively attract, retain and grow jobs for the Orlando region while advocating, championing, and educating in support of efforts to improve competitive position. The EDC serves Orange, Seminole, Lake and Osceola counties and the City of Orlando – a region of about 4,000 square miles and 2.2. million people. Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association

The Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association is one of Central Florida's largest and most influential trade groups. The membership includes nearly 80% of the more than 121,000 hotel rooms in Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties, and nearly 500 "supplier" organizations that do business with the hospitality and tourism industries.

CFHLA membership is dedicated to supporting the industry in Central Florida. Members socialize with the "Who's Who" of the local hospitality industry and have a voice in the governmental, social, cultural and charitable fabric of the Central Florida community.

Hotels, motels, timeshare resorts, management companies, vacation rental managers, supplier businesses, and hospitality industry students all participate in the business, social and public policy activities of the Association and of the industry.

The Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association is here to serve its membership, the hospitality industry and the Central Florida community.

Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts

The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts is pure inspiration, from the tip of its iconic canopy roof to the foot of every stage. Named by Travel + Leisure magazine as "World’s Coolest New Tourist Attractions 2015" and among their “Best Places to Travel in 2015” the two-block downtown destination includes the 2,700-seat Walt Disney Theater, 300-seat Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater, Seneff Arts Plaza, Dr. Phillips Center Florida Hospital School of the Arts, the DeVos Family Room, and other event rental spaces.  Future expansion includes Steinmetz Hall, a 1,700-seat acoustical theater, along with rehearsal rooms, office space and commercial development spaces. The Dr. Phillips Center brings the best international, national and local artists to their stages including Broadway, ballet, rock, orchestra, comedy, jazz, outdoor concerts, festivals, family shows and arts education programs.

Skal International

Skal International, the only international organization bringing together sectors of the travel and tourism industry while networking, conducting business and helping communities locally, nationally and internationally, was founded in Paris, France in 1932 by travel trade managers.  From that modest beginning, Skal members now number more than 18,000 in over 450 clubs spread throughout 87 countries.  Skal International Orlando, the second largest Skal Club in the U.S. and among the Top 10 Skal Clubs in the world, was voted Skal International Club of the Year 2006-2007 and North American Club of the Year in 2007.  For more information, go to

American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS)

The Greater Orlando Chapter has strong roots in the business community, demonstrated by Chapter Members who serve the community by pledging their time, talent and financial resources to many local organizations 

Founded in July, 1969, the Orlando Chapter of ASIS International provides a forum for Security Professionals to grow and diversity; advancing knowledge and opportunity in our field.  Our Chapter has a monthly meeting with speakers covering a broad range of topics on the lasts Security issues.  During December a Holiday meeting is held and dedicated to collecting toys for the children at Harbor House of Central Florida, a domestic violence refuge and our Chapter community service project.
