An Inside Look at Millenia Fashion Week | Blogger Jen Vieira

October 1, 2017

The 12th Annual Fashion Week at The Mall at the Millenia just wrapped up another amazing and successful fashion week. I had the privilege to attend the 3 day event, filled with runway shows displaying this Fall's 2017 trends styled by the one and only Melanie Pace.

These events were even more special due to the wonderful charities involved. What I love about these kind of events is that it's about giving back, it's Fashion with a cause.

It all began with Fashion's Night In. Ticket sales for this private event went to Benefiting Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida.  The fashion show was filled with sneak peeks of the latest trends that each brand has in store for us this fall season. Here are some of the brands that were featured -  7 for all mankind, BCBG Maxazria, Bloomingdale’s, Donald J Pliner, GUESS by Marciano, CUSP by Neiman Marcus and White House/Black Market.

Fabrics, colors, and textures for this year's trends are just ooh la la. From reds to metallics and leather, they all got me super excited for this fall. A DJ, cartoon artist, yummy cocktails and appetizers were all apart of Fashion's Night In. After the show, guests were able to enjoy in-store shopping with special bonuses. Some stores had treats, others had special promotions all benefiting the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida.

The Second fashion show was the "Fashion For All". This was open to the public and let me tell you, it was a full house. Beautiful looks from Macy's, Gap, Chico’s, Under Armour and many more. Just perfect to get me inspired to create fall looks for you guys. So stay on the look out for those Instagram OOTDS.

To conclude, Fashion Brunch & Boutique Stroll was the last show of fashion week at The Mall at the Millenia, another private event hosted by Stacee Michelle. This event benefited the Runway To Hope organization, a foundation that provides support to Central Florida children affected by pediatric cancer. If you would like more information and would like to donate, click Here. These tickets included a champagne brunch and featured the hottest trends from Neiman Marcus on the runway. Trends to remember for this season: velvets, modern suiting, fish nets, leather jackets, sheer, and of course those statement booties.

I want to give a huge thank you to The Mall at the Millenia for inviting me to be a part of these events! It's Fashion with a cause and I'm honored to be able to give back and share all these wonderful events with you guys!

Looking forward to next year's fashion week!
