Steal Her Style
February 15, 2017
Everyone’s favorite princess, Kate Middleton, has won the world’s hearts with her chic wardrobe, her big heart, and her contagious smile. And soon we’ll all be seeing a lot more of her: William and Kate are set to move back to London from their country home this year. Here’s how to steal the style of the world’s sweetheart.
Kate loves a belt! On coats, dresses, you name it. Pictured: Cotton poplin mini-gingham trapeze shirtdress, from Brooks Brothers; Kate Spade New York Clarissa dress; J. Crew collection trench in windowpane.
Kate’s hems almost always finish at a chic knee-length: she knows how elegant and flattering this cut is. Pictured: daisy-print sheath dress by Kate’s pal Victoria Beckham, at Neiman Marcus; Banana Republic gingham pencil skirt; J. Crew pop-stripe dress.
Kate loves a hat; she’s worn one just like Gucci’s pink felt number, complete with veil. Also pictured: the perfectly princessy pearl earrings from Tiffany & Co., and a David Yurman diamond collar — Kate has one just like it.
Kate has a few tricks up her sleeve when it comes to evening wear. Her go-to is a lace dress with three-quarter length sleeves: she has several. Pictured is Ralph Lauren’s bell-sleeve dress, at Macy’s. Also pictured: Tory Burch’s Beauvoir gown, much like the Tory Burch dress Kate wore to dinner with the King and Queen of Bhutan last year; the Erdem dress Kate wore while addressing a mental health charity in January — also available at Neiman Marcus.
Pictured: the Burberry trench coat that sold out after Kate was pictured in hers. Kate often rocks a pair of Jimmy Choo platform pumps — pictured is the Luna 100 style. Alexander McQueen is an eveningwear go-to for Kate — the pictured gown is available at Neiman Marcus.
