The Mall at Millenia announces the opening of Pottery Barn

July 13, 2010

Former Pottery Barn Bed & Bath space renovated to reopen as Pottery Barn

ORLANDO, Fla. July 13, 2010 – The Mall at Millenia continues to feature in-demand retailers.  The Center is proud to announce the opening of Pottery Barn on July 16, 2010.  Previously Pottery Bed & Bath now transitioned with a remodel and a merchandise change to re-open as Pottery Barn.  The 9,500 square foot store is located next to Pottery Barn Kids on the lower level near Bloomingdale’s.  The new store will feature a full assortment of furniture, decorative accessories, table top and home furnishings.

“We are delighted that Pottery Barn, one of the leading home furnishings brands is continuing to grow here,” said Brenda Lounsberry, SCMD Marketing Director for The Mall at Millenia. “This new addition will enhance our guests experience by broadening the offerings in the home category.”

Pottery Barn began in 1949 as a single store in Lower Manhattan, and is founded on the idea that home furnishings should be exceptional in comfort, style and quality. Their designers draw their inspiration from time-honored models in America and around the world to create unique collections at an excellent value. Nearly all of Pottery Barn's products are exclusive to their catalogs, web site and stores. In January 1999, they launched Pottery Barn Kids, a collection of furnishings for babies and kids that has Pottery Barn's comfortable, well-designed character and a whimsy all its own.
